  1. I have no idea what a superstititious reverence for the constitution is. Explain, please. I am not an Objectivist, so I don't know what "Objectivists want." I guess Rand wasn't an Objectivist, since you can see from the quotes below she greatly admired that document.
  2. That's what I've been saying. Comprehension problem, or do you just like to argue?
  3. Nope. I would expel people who threaten to kill and kill Americans and who attempt to subvert the Constitution.
  4. Yes, bombing groups of people is force. What's your point. Would you have invited avowed Nazis into the US during WWII?
  5. What if said immigrants openly state their plan to overturn Constitution and kill those who disagree with them? If you say that not all Muslims openly over that, let me ask you: if I offered you a bowl of 20 nuts and told you 5 were poisonous, would you eat the nuts?
  6. Naw. Roark is definitely unaware of and indifferent to people. So, by the way, is Rearden. His unwillingness to even think about his marriage for 10 years is self-defeating, as is his unwillingness to think about the regulators of his business.
  7. Sounds excellent. One of my (many) problems with Rand is her depiction of heroic people who are "unaware" of other people. Roark is a prime example. I also believe she suffered from some of this. To a great extent, I equate empathy with awareness and awareness with focus.
  8. Rand would certainly not promote that. But I have always disagreed with her assertion that bad tactics must fail. I've seen the opposite too often. But poking fun at values infuriates me.
  9. Hell, no. But that kind of success has never been my goal.
  10. Good question. But just look at the Clintons. Forty years of corruption, and they are on top. AIG, the company that ruined thousands in 08 is still doing well.
  11. The lamentable is that corruption does succeed. In reality, Keating would be a success.
  12. But those traits do win at times, unfortunately.
  13. Unsympathetic perhaps, but probably accurate.
  14. So, all of Hillary's criminal actions are ok with you. Wow.
