  1. Ms. Hsieh, your own excellent dissections of the traitor's words are as close as I wish to come to them. I suppose that if I wanted first-hand knowledge of his evil I could buy his alleged autobiography or one of his "biocentric" psycho-babble books. Perhaps I could, at some cost, acquire his entire mendacious oeuvre. But I do not wish one cent of my scarce resources to reach his filthy pockets. Soviet Russia would not have survived as long as it did had the moral and productive people of the world boycotted it. And Ayn Rand's darkest nemesis would not have survived into his disgustingly prolonged senescence, had all of those who loved the author of Atlas Shrugged righteously turned their backs on him. I'll tell you what Ayn Rand did. She wrote the magisterial "To Whom It May Concern" and then slammed the door on the fiend and his shrill ex-wife. She did not deign to reply to the traitor or dignify his slanderous rants with calmly reasoned rejoinders. Mention of his name would only have fueled his ego and his following among professional Rand Haters. For this reason, I will follow Miss Rand's noble lead and nevermore write or speak the Evil One's cursed name.
  2. You have told us about the vile scoundrel's rejection of moral judgment. Having read your work here and at Noodle Food, I trust you - in the same fashion that Dr. Peikoff was able to trust those who read the traitor's ex-wife's galley proofs. Therefore, we do not need to go to the villain's web site in order to form a rational judgment about his depravity. We can take your word for it. Any hit on his web site will contribute to his Alexa and Google rankings. The multiplier effect of book sales is also true of web sites: the more people that read them, the more famous they become and the likelier it is that others will find out about them. The morally proper way is to read James S. Valliant's The Passion of Ayn Rand's Critics. See publisher's description here.
  3. Just as it was not necessary for Dr. Leonard Peikoff to read the so-called "biography" of Ayn Rand written by the vile scoundrel's ex-wife in order to form an opinion about it (see The Intellectual Activist, 26 May 1986), so it is not necessary for Objectivists to read the vile scoundrel's web site in order to form opinions about the depth and breadth of his evil.
  4. I notice that the above essay contains two links to the vile scoundrel's own website. Isn't this giving him publicity and web traffic that he does not deserve?
  5. Yes. Ayn Rand said, "Since everything man needs has to be discovered by his own mind and produced by his own effort, the two essentials of the method of survival proper to a rational being are: thinking and productive work." ("The Objectivist Ethics," p. 23) As an Objectivist I am opposed to any "method of survival" that is not "proper to a rational being." Therefore, it is appropriate that those who can survive only by mooching cease to exist.
