I believe ancient Indian civilization is superior to the aforementioned. The Indians invented the base-10 numeral system which is now used de facto worldwide. One of the earliest instances of civilizations with democracy, or sometimes disputed as oligarchy, was found in the republics of ancient India, which were established sometime before the 6th century BC, and prior to the birth of Gautama Buddha.
