Hi. Thought I'd add a thread about the cultural things we like about Israel. Its arts, films, music, landscape etc. I don't want this thread to get political so please no commenting on its political, ideological, military (etc) aspects. What is Zionism, in your mind? Just curious.

Zionism is the nationalist ideology of the Jewish People. The majority of Israelis are Zionists. Every single Prime Minister and military leader of Israel has been a Zionist. The organization which created the State was called the World Zionist Organization. Socialists like Ben-Gurion, Fascists like Jabotinsky, and religious Zealots like Baruch Goldstien were all self avowed Zionists.

I haven't read your posts up to this point but.... By Muslim Zionism do you mean Muslims supporting a Jewish presence in Palestine? Or just valuing the Land for their own reasons? Assuming you're even still active on this board anymore....

The cracked half crumbling sidewalks beneath me, industrial wastelands around me, on my way to the slum I stay in. Inside my head though, the thoughts and meanings of one determined to break free. What makes them friends? They run faster, harder than me. The one who gives most to the pack is the one who's drive sets the example. This is where we agree. When the slogans are over there are those who are passionate about life and those who aren't, those who think and those who don't. Spirits in a spiritless world. I'm here to run along side you where I can.
