About Me

I started using the name "Necrovore" in 1997. The name is inspired by the Night People of Ringworld (who ran their own ring-wide communications system, but also named themselves after musical instruments, which I didn't do) but also by the Morlocks in Neal Stephenson's essay "In The Beginning Was The Command Line". The type of work I do occurs behind the scenes and often goes unnoticed.
