  1. If you could identify an aspect of what it is to be some given effect, would you call that knowledge inductive?

    If you could discover such an aspect through a process, would you consider that process inductive?

      If you found that one aspect of heat transfer was the motion of constituents, would you regard that as causal knowledge and therefore grounds for induction?

      I do not know a lot of physics, nor am I particularly familiar with the history of the discoveries science has made about heat. If I am not mistaken, Harriman does regard your example as a causal basis for induction.
