  10. You state in your "About Me", the following:

I am interested in investigating all these claims fairly and thoroughly.

Directly in view of that statement I was wondering:

How many and which of Ayn Rand's works have you read?

What about works about Objectivism, e.g. by Leonard Piekoff or Tara Smith etc.?  What level of independent research re. Objectivism have you engaged in, either prior to or concurrently with, your discussions here?

    Just curious.

    Dear Friends and Fans,

I've decided to remove Philosophy in Action from active circulation. My philosophical views have changed dramatically in recent years, and my life is much better for it. It's time for me to leave this work in the past. My heartfelt thanks to the many folks who've helped and supported me on this strange and difficult path of life.

Thanks for health update. Bummer on the irreversible symptom.

The NIF thing is OK. I just wasn't able to google and find that group at all. I mean it was no longer showing up in a search. But Jim Henderson has now given me the exact address of it, and I've bookmarked it so I can check in there now and then.

All wore the same perpetual smile of the divinely deluded, the peaceful countenance of those self-assured in their fantasy of certainty and understanding. Truth was only a shifting fog to them, to be burned off by the light of their convoluted reasoning. Followers, disciples, of Darken Rahl, one and all. Most paid the three no attention, giving them no more than a vacant nod.— The Sword of Truth: Wizard's First Rule, by Terry Goodkind.

  23. In diatonic music, even in the greatest symphonies, the chord must be resolved to the center. Choirs must follow strophe and antistrophe and end the play in catastrophe. — Ao Aoen, The Warlock
