Michelangelo
Several questions. 1. Are there private companies that create WMD's (weapons that have the potential to kill much more then guns) 2. Are these companies only allowed to sell them to our government? If in the future we had the ability to make WMD's affordable and accessible to individuals, should we have the right to do so? When would a person become a threat to the safety of others while it is in their possession? If I'm correct, Ayn Rand saw that there was a difference between the potential and the actual. So I'm inclined to think that it would be alright to be in possession of a WMD, but at the instance of a possible threat the government has the right to intervene and stop the initiator. *edit* I should also add that I did not find any posts in particular to what I've asked.
