IchorFigure
From the article: "John McCain and Sarah Palin they call this socialistic. You know I don't know when, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness." He's wrong, but at least he's clear. http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008...x-foes-selfish/
Who_Is_GV?
First time I heard that I glanced over at my bookshelf and my copy of AR's VOS. You're right, his opposition to individualism in this regard could not be more 'clear.'
Jake_Ellison
From the article: He's wrong, but at least he's clear. http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008...x-foes-selfish/ He may be wrong about McCain and Palin, but he's certainly right about tax-foes being selfish. We most certainly are selfish, and anyone who claims not to be, yet holds on to any of his wealth, is a hypocrite. And those who aren't selfish are wrong, in fact they are depraved and evil. sanjavalen
I saw an ad on youtube in response to that. For those wondering why McCain lost, here's a clue. The ad said: Keeping your hard earned money is selfish? NO ITS NOT! I'm surprised McCain didn't lose by more than he did, to be honest.... 01503
Keeping your hard earned money is selfish? NO ITS NOT! That is just intellectual dishonesty, plain and simple. Keeping your money is selfish. Damned selfish. Is it bad? Hell no. I am one selfish bastard.
