Not because I think Superman is a bad character, but I don't want Nolan to burn out on the Superhero aesthetic. He is the Batman guy, not the comic book guy. I don't know how I feel about a reboot to Superman in general. His origin story is so ingrained in the minds of Americans that it seems silly to re-tell it for hundreds of millions of dollars.
