Marc K.
In this news snippet from Reuters Al Gore says that US corn ethanol "was not a good policy" because it caused food prices to rise (Duhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!). Even more surprising, and damning as far as I'm concerned, is his admission that: "One of the reasons I made that mistake is that I paid particular attention to the farmers in my home state of Tennessee, and I had a certain fondness for the farmers in the state of Iowa because I was about to run for president." Essentially: "It's all politics"; in the worst sense of the word. Edit: grammar Edited November 24, 2010 by Marc K.
