$76,000 protest disrupts swank Obama SF fundraiser: "We paid our dues..where's our 'change"? (VIDEO)

Half a dozen protesters said they paid $76,000 for tickets to a high-priced San Francisco fundraiser starring President Barack Obama Thursday to air their concerns regarding the treatment of Private Bradley Manning -- the 23-year-old intelligence expert accused of being the Wikileaks' source.

The first comment I see there:

"The fact of the matter is, nothing in life or this world, or this universe is black and white, nothing,..."

i.e. Absolutely no absolutes. Wonderful.

Soo...is this what you wanted to share, or the singing thing or?

Also, they recently moved him out of his isolation cell:

Not that it makes Obama's complete and utter silence on this issue ok.

That quote is what prompted me to post. (Since John Galt specifically commented on that contradiction.)

“There are no absolutes,” they chatter, blanking out the fact that they are uttering an absolute.

-Galt's speech

The rest is worth of discussion too, of course. There's the anti-capitalist angle... the administration's non-response and non-transparency on Pte Manning... the song.

I don't know, I guess it is a grey area. lol

Incidentally, it is more rare to see the statement "there are NO black and whites"... More often I hear "not everything is black and white", to which I can agree and simply follow and confirm that the person understands that some things are.

When I saw this thread, I was thinking "Oh goodie, someone is protesting Obama." Then I read the article and concluded that they were all idiots. xD They spent money to get into a fundraiser for Obama, so they financially supported him in order to get in. And then once they were in, what do they do? They sing a stupid song and then that's it.

Way to go guys. You're really fighting hard for some change there. <_<
