SapereAude
Just a head's up that Ayn Rand: In Her Own Words is now available on Netflix streaming. Well worth a watch.
JASKN
Makes her more human, which I like. Sometimes I think her accent, demeanor, and ideas together turn people off because she's not immediately relatable. But she had the struggles, ups and downs, just like any other person. SapereAude
Makes her more human, which I like. Sometimes I think her accent, demeanor, and ideas together turn people off because she's not immediately relatable. But she had the struggles, ups and downs, just like any other person. I enjoyed it most for that reason. She has been held up as an almost demonic figure for so long that most people who haven't read her already have a fully formed opinion of what a monster she must be. Her portrayal here is very honest and personal and I think anyone who's made up their minds about her based on what they've read in the mainstream media would probably think again about their assumptions of her character- even if they remain convinced that her beliefs are wrong minded.
