RationalBiker
I haven't actually read this yet, but I bought it because the premise is intriguing. The story is about a medieval surgeon solving a murder mystery. I like the idea of interjecting some science in a period otherwise cloaked in mysticism, much like Ken Follett did in The Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. I'm not going into it expecting his expertise in writing or storytelling, but hopefully I'll be surprised. The Amazon reviews are generally positive. I'll post more when I get around to reading the book. Oh yea, and right now the first of the series is cheap for the Kindle edition, $1.99.
