John Link
Here's a link to one of many articles I've read about what appears to be a bill (maybe soon to become law) that includes provisions that are flagrantly unconstitutional: http://www.businessi...an-ever-2011-
determinist
I wrote my local congressman to oppose the bill. After the TSA, nothing surprises me. They are going to keep using terrorism as an excuse to trample on our rights. In the following link, I saw that Ron Paul is furious about it. http://rt.com/usa/ne...-detention-745/ On the other hand, I do not see Romney or Gingrich raising a fuss. John Link
I just called the White House at 202-456-1111 to express my disgust at Obama's willingness to sign NDAA 2012 which includes provisions for indefinite detention, and to urge him to VETO this unconstitutional bill. I was on hold for 10 minutes or so. I hope that means that many others are calling the White House for the same reason. I also emailed the White House here: Submit Questions & Comments | The White House If you care about your freedom, act now, because Obama intends to sign the bill into law. John Link
I understand that the Senate is expected to make a final vote today and send it to the White House to sign into law by the end of the week. Go to http://www.senate.go...enators_cfm.cfm and contact your senators now!
mdegges
I heard that the bill was changed, so in it's final draft it now exempts US citizens altogether. Not sure if this is correct, but it seems to go against the article you posted.
John Link
If you care about freedom, please sign this petition urging Obama to veto NDAA 2012: Veto the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 as several provisions of the bill pose a threat.
