softwareNerd
Since the forum has been around for a little more than a decade, there are many topics that have been discussed, but lie buried because they are "INfrequently discussed". I thought it might be interesting to post a link to some such old thread every now and then. For instance, here's a 2005 thread about "The Anti-Civilization movement". A member asks for feedback on an essay by someone from the movement. (I locking this thread, since it is going to be on all sorts of topics. Comments, if any, can be added to relevant old topic.) softwareNerd
Here's a thread from 1997, about "Theory of History". What drives history: chance, geography, ideas, some inexorable mechanism that is going to take humanity through various stages, or nothing -- just chance? Of these options, does Objectivism have a particular theory or favor a particular theory of history?
