softwareNerd
... is it the the job of mainstream journalism to determine what is relevant and what is needed to be known?...Isn't it -- implicitly -- a necessary part of any journalist's work? He cannot present all the million things that happen every day. Since it is necessary to present only a subset, someone has to decide what that is going to be.
