Marxos
Hello all! I'm a 18yo guy from Poland, learning currently in a high school and I'm going to study philosophy and history soon I'm really interested in practically everything but especially in humanistic/social sciences. I love arts, especially music. I'm just discovering Rand's philosophy and I think it's great, life-changing in fact. I've already read "Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal" and "The Virtue of Selfishness" (gonna read novels this holiday) and completed some Ayn Rand Institute's lectures. Overall, I just want to say hello. I hope discussions here will make me smarter and that I'll meet great people also contributing to subjects myself
Reidy
Welcome to OO. Yours is an unusual path, as most of us started with the novels. Do you see much interest in Rand in Poland?

Marxos
I think interest in Rand's ideas grow stronger here although it can be a little tough to estimate for me as I spend a lot of time browsing libertarian/liberal etc. sites so I deal with objectivists quite often. Anyways we've got some people who declare being close to her philosophy - some of them are Polish publicists/journalists, one is famous among Polish libertarians youtuber. Great fact is that reprint of "Virtue of Selfishness" is placed among bestsellers of one of our biggest bookstores
