dream_weaver
In a headline that sat prominent for a couple of days on the Drudge Report: One income for all: far-fetched, or future fact? One question that does not appear to be answered is "Who is paying to develop the robotic infrastructure?" and secondly, how do they expect to recoup the investment in such a development? OK, it is asked "Who pays", but the answer is less than clear. Things are more complicated today. - Who pays? - It appears to be addressed by a "pie-in-the-sky" approach with: "As new technologies replace work, the question for the future is how best to provide economic security for all," economist and former US labor secretary Robert Reich wrote in a blog post. Let's make sure we keep the cart in front of the horse, as pushing the cart is much more efficacious than pulling it. (Tongue in cheek intended.) New Buddha
Marxism is a pseudo-science. Marx believed that History passes thru several distinct ages that would, via Historical Materialism, end in perfect Communism. To this end, he had to deny the idea of Free Will and individual choice - i.e. he advocated Determinism. Nothing any individual thinks or say can stave off the future arrival of Communism. To Marx, ideas, thoughts, scientific break thru's, values, ethics, etc. were not the product of a individual Man's thinking and reasoning, but rather were "determined" by one's Class, and it's relationship to the current Age's material means of production. The idea that the VALUE of a commodity can be measured by the number of hours it takes to produce is pseudo-science.

You are coming dangerously close to advocating a basis for intellectual property rights with this.
