Because having a picture of who is talking has been somewhat helpful to me in the past - at least, a very big aid in reminding me that I am dealing with a human being (in this case, human beings who tend to share my ideas) and politeness would be prudent.

Because I am no hypocrit, I shall go first.

Behold!

What the heck. I haven't posted in months, but I'm a daily reader. Here's one of me:

I personally wouldn't think of posting my picture on the forum. Hence my obscure avatar. I especially wouldn't do something insane like link to my own site in the signiature line.

Oh, wait....crap.

This was taken at this past winter NAMM Convention in Anaheim, CA, where I ran an exhibitor booth.

That's me on the right. Crystal Method on the left. Our booth-on-a-loading-dock in the background.

(Ah, yes. NAMM = National Association of Music Merchants)

Ok...first girl to post a photo...hopefully I'll start a trend. This was a themed group picture...we all had to dress up and paint our faces...hence the cat face! <_<post-435-1128151388_thumb.jpg

These photos were taken at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. The one with normal hair was me in 1999 after one of my sisters' graduations, the one with the cool hair was in 2001 during my mother's white coat cerimony. I'd find a better head close up but I don't get photographed often, and I don't currently have any on file.

Edit:

This is the best semi-profile, taken in 2000.

I was 16 at the time, so add five years.

This is me, my wife in the middle, and her sister on the left. We were on vacation enjoying my sister-in-laws lunch break in downtown Seattle.

I occasionally take self-portraits from reflections of my interests. Here's my reflection off my Honda Shadow Aero motorcycle.

I play guitar too, but sadly I don't have any guitar pictures yet. I'll have to rectify that.

Okay, while not me, I figured I couldn't post one of me and my wife without posting one of my son as well. Here is a photo of my son that I edited to give it that "Matrix" feel.

Step off, fool!

Didn't you read the entrapment thread? Check the bottom of this post and the next one. A fellow moderator acknowledges my incredible skill and cunning! Do you think I'd be scared off by a measly "patron"? :P
