DavidV
Because our old web host had a bad hard drive, I am moving everything to a new server. If you are reading this, your DNS info has updated to the new stuff. Lots of stuff will probably be broken
softwareNerd
You probably already know this, but since you asked: The main page http://ObjectivismOnline.com/ is going to Rhino Machinery ! The chat-room link is not showing
DavidV
[*]The main page http://ObjectivismOnline.com/ is going to Weird. Try now?
softwareNerd
Okay, main page is back. Chat link shows and it goes into the chat page, but isn't working.
softwareNerd
I wonder if the phpFreeChat data needs to be cleaned out. I remember that was required once in the past.
DavidV
I tried that. I have no idea why it doesn't work - I have it going on another IIS server with no problems.
Dismuke
Something odd is up with the "find member's posts" feature in member profiles. It returns multiple pages of search results - but on each page of search results, only the top post of the page worth of results is showing. DavidV
Ooops. Fixed.
scottkursk
Congratulations. It was a pretty good uptime restore considering it's not a full blown commercial ecommerce site. Very very good.
aleph_0
Dunno if you know, but I still cannot access the chatroom.
JASKN
Also, I am still getting the same problem Dismuke described.
DavidOdden
I'm having the problem that when I post, it returns to http://forum.ObjectivismOnline.com/index.php?, with a null page(<html><body></body></html>). (This is a randomly replicable effect) Edited May 8, 2006 by DavidOdden

Marc K.
Hi David, Every time I access a thread I must hit "back" twice to go back where I started. There is a blank page in between. Thanks, Marc

softwareNerd
I was getting a blank page (from home) this morning. It is working fine now (from work). David: For the chat, can you try by-passing the forum/module etc., going straight to the chat.php ... with no add-on code.
DavidV
Yarg! The website is crashing on this new server. I may have to move everything again. Edited May 9, 2006 by GreedyCapitalist
scottkursk
Hmm, anyone else get this? I did. But I noticed when I cleared my cache the problem didn't happen again. It could be something completely unrelated but it seemed to fix it.
softwareNerd
I noticed something today, and it might be related to the move or to the latest version of IPB. When I click on member's name and "Find" all their posts, I don't get them all. I only see one post per page.
DavidOdden
Have people who use Foxfire figured out how to make things work? Whenever I post something, it returns me to a blank page and it can't ever find a "getlast" value. I deleted the cache to no avail; worse, things seem to work with IE (insert rant about IE). Or am I the only one who's plagued by this?? Edited May 10, 2006 by DavidOdden
Qwertz
Here's something odd: On the "View New Posts" page, all the graphical icons (like the folder icons, the attachment icons, the "go to last unread" icons) are replaced with text. In Firefox. EDIT: And now they're not. Hmmmmm.... Edited May 11, 2006 by Qwertz

Or am I the only one who's plagued by this?? I'm using Firefox 1.0.5.3 and I'm working pretty much without problem. The only problem I'm encountering is opening any images in posts. I tried opening the ostrich in the TESTING thread and one that's still on my profile that I posted in the past. I get the "required file" warning. Both edits work and my posts aren't returning a blank page back. I wonder if the lack of blank page has to do with a quirky plug in issue. Maarten
Using version 1.0.7 of Mozilla Firefox here. Works okay, and you get to survive smilies without harm in the chatroom.

softwareNerd
I think the chat is working now I don't see the messages that I type. However, if I quit and come back, I see those messages. Odd.
