stephen_speicher
What are the best books/lectures on Objectivist metaphysics? Compared to the other areas of Objectivist philosophy there really is not much to say about metaphysics beyond existence exists, and its several corollaries. Peikoff's "Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand," has some nice discussion, and of course there is metaphysical material to be found in Ayn Rand's "Introduction To Objectivist Epistemology." Here is short paper which may interest you, written by a young Objectivist philosophy student. http://www.geocities.com/rationalphysics/U...nded_Finite.htm

kesg
What are the best books/lectures on Objectivist metaphysics? Besides Galt's speech, the best source I know of is Chapter 1 of OPAR, but also read the essays cited by the footnotes to that Chapter. You may also want to read Aristotle's Metaphysics, especially Book IV -- which is what Ragnar was reading at the end of Atlas Shrugged. Atlas51184
The first few lectures of Advanced Seminars on OPAR offer some material on metaphysics that isn't in OPAR the book, FYI.
