  1. Here is a Funky Soul tune that has some pretty cool lyrics. Sorry I don't have them in their entirety, I was taking them down since I couldn't find them on google. Teddy Pendergrass - You Can't Hide From Yourself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPHjJ7ahcA8&feature=fvw "You can't hide from yourself / everywhere you go there you are. The truth is a light - a light shining within, When you look in the mirror do you see a foe or a friend? ... Make peace with yourself before you can love another Understand who and what you are before you can go any further ... You can't hide... look in the mirror there you are You can't run from yourself, there you are - you can't run, no!"

  5. Fusion Groove Orchestra - The Dream (Miguel Migs' Deep Dreamer Dub Remix)
  6. I completely agree with this review, Brothers Bloom blew me away. I went in expecting to see a 4 out of 10 and instead saw a 9. West and I have now seen it twice in theatres, the second time simply reaffirming all of our positive judgments of this film. Everyone should see this film.

  10. I love electronic dance music! Funky house, some drum and bass, some trance... I especially like Mark Farina, Stephan Pompougnac, Gui Boratto, Thievery Corporation, S-Tone Inc, Daft Punk, Justice, etc
  11. OKAY.. I'll bump this thread: Who here is for sure signed up for OCON? Which classes are you signed up for? Will you be staying at the Seaport? I'm in Wood / Kenner S1, and Daniels / J. Lewis S2. (A la Carte, I'm not doing the general sessions) Who would be interested in an OO.netter meetup? Who here has signed up for those overpriced meet-and-greet / closing reception dinners?
  12. The word 'bimbo' was used in the header of the story (which i copy/pasted into the title of the post), and I'm sure was the choice of the writer/editor -- for shock value -- and not a word used by the scientists in their journal article.
  13. A study of more than 2,000 female twins showed that those with greater emotional intelligence had larger numbers of orgasms. Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability to monitor and manage feelings and emotions in oneself and others. The findings suggest that low EI is a risk factor for female orgasmic disorder, one of the most common sexual problems suffered by women. Up to 30 per cent of women find it difficult or impossible to reach a climax during sexual intercourse. Women in the bottom 25 per cent of the emotional intelligence range had twice the normal risk of infrequent orgasm. Lead author, psychologist Andrea Burri, from King's College, said: "Emotional intelligence seems to have a direct impact on women's sexual functioning by influencing her ability to communicate her sexual expectations and desires to her partner." The results of the study appear today in The Journal of Sexual Medicine. FULL ARTICLE HERE from the UK Telegraph ---------------- I am not sure how many grains of salt to take this with, but it was kind of interesting / funny, none-the-less. Do you guys notice this correlation in your own history of sexual partners?
