I have reasonable experience with objectivism. I read almost all fiction by ayn rand and few non fiction like capitalism the unknown ideal, vos etc. I believe that to understand her philosophy and arrive at the conclusion that shes the best - its not necessary to read many philosophers to compare and form a judgement. If one understands atlas shrugged fully then he understands objectivism 90% if not more. Unfortunately most people keep reading ayn rand as well as other philosophers all their lives and even then they dont understand her. and theyre unable to believe that she was perfect.
