  1. You asked and we listened! Our first ever fine art calendar filled with twelve months of uplifting art is now available for only $20. Perfect for your desk or as a gift, this calendar is work friendly and just the right size. For details go to http://cordair.com/wordpress/calendar.
  2. In this challenging financial environment, it is vital that we continue the flow of great art coming from of our artists' studios. We are committed to keeping the art flowing and to continuing our financial support of our artists even if that means thinking outside the box a bit at present. Fortunately, we've built up a bountiful collection of fine paintings and sculpture over the past few years - we can afford to be flexible occasionally. Our retail display space is full and we need to make room for new art that we're expecting. So, in light of the present economy and just in time for the holidays, several of our artists are being gracious and flexible enough to allow us to offer you the opportunity to place bids on a small selection of pieces, making it possible to acquire desired art at an appreciable savings. As the smart investor knows, challenging times equate to some of the best buying opportunities. We're accepting silent bids on the following artworks until 12-noon PST, December 7th. Working with the artists, we've set very reasonable reserves on the works -- no, we're not giving them away -- but, subject to the reserves, the art will be sold to the highest bid received by the auction deadline. Submit your bids to [email protected]. Details and imgaes at http://tinyurl.com/btpzbxv
  3. The music choices on You Tube are limited. I'll have to fugure out how to import other options and explore the royaltes. Thanks for the suggetions. I'll keep working on it.
  4. Hi Everyone, Thanks for discovering my gallery videos which are a work in progress. I have been posting the videos to our Facebook page to see what kind of reaction they receive. So far it has been very positive. The eventual plan is to have them on the QCFA (www.cordair.com) web site as well, but I want to work on making them much better before I do. RIght now I am experimenting with back drops, lighting, editing and the limited amount of music choices that are appropriate and currently available on You Tube. Don't worry, there will be more and they will get even better as I learn more about the process. I am very glad that you are enjoying them in the mean time, despite some of the challenges and wrinkles that I am still working on. I will be moving them from my personal You Tube page to a Quent Cordair Fine Art You Tube page as time permits. That being said, If you enjoy the gallery, one of the most helpful things that you can do for us is to share our links and images on Facebook with your friends. You can also use our new "share" buttons that appear on the left side and bottom of every page at www.cordair.com to help others discover our sunlit world. The more people who know about our gallery the better off and more motivated our artists will be to continue to create such uplifting and inspirational work. Thanks for your help and please let me know if there is anything that I can do to assist you.

  8. Quent Cordair's newest short story, "Sheltered" has debuted on Amazon and is available for only 99 cents on Kindles. It can also be downloaded to computers and smart phones using the free Kindle reading app. “A year and six days underground without sunlight or breeze or contact with the world above—whatever might be left of the world above. A year and six days without touch, without unrecorded voice, without contact, without friends or family. If only they had listened, if only they had been ready. But he—he had prepared. He was Reginald B. Wakefield, and he hadn’t died. A wave of vindication washed over him, lifting and sweeping away all doubt and fear. He had been right. He raised his eyes again to the hatch cover above. . . . He had been right.” In “Sheltered,” the timely short story by Quent Cordair, one man follows his own course in response to growing fears of impending disaster and societal breakdown. Enjoy the story. There are more on the way!

  11. In the months leading up to the release of his much anticipated novel, Quent Cordair has begun to publish his short stories on Amazon. The first short story, "A Prelude to Pleasure" is getting rave reviews and has made the #6 spot on Amazon's "Hot New Releases" list and #4 by average customer review. Quent's story can be downloaded for 99 cents to Kindles as well as to computers and smart phones via a free Kindle app. "A Prelude to Pleasure" is the tale of how a man of accomplishment and wealth goes about finding his true love--and what he discovers along the way, with the help of a boy who reminds him of who he once was. One reviewer said, "The characters are nicely drawn and the dramatic tension unfolds according to a clever, inexorable logic: Will the hero ruin his life with a bad decision -- or have the courage to make the right decision?" Quent will be publishing many of his short stories on Amazon over the coming months. This one is sure to wet your appetite and leave you wanting more. If you enjoy the story, please leave Quent a review on the Amazon page. Thanks and happy reading!
