  1. Isn't this a special case of Heraclitus? There are no entities, only change. You can't step in the same stream twice, etc. I think Ayn Rand once said of Heraclitus that change without that which changes is a stolen concept but don't quote me on that. That is, you only get the concept of change by observing entities changing in the first place, so you can't very well turn around and use that concept to argue against their existence.

    Reddit

I go on Reddit almost every day. It is very much like Digg.com before they completely alienated their userbase (at which point most of them simply moved to reddit), meaning that while it contains people of a very large spectrum, the majority are young, extremely liberal technofiles (i.e. people in Computer Science, etc.) and that is mostly what you will get out of the politics section. I suggest you try your luck in reddit.com/r/libertarian or potentially even reddit.com/r/atheism or /freethinkers as people are much more receptive there and there are Ayn Rand postings in there from time to time. Reddit is simply for sharing things, its not really a political dojo.

  3. Oh my God... I just had to laugh at this. Yeah, WLU_Objectivism, my rational faculty went mad at the movie theater! I just threw all my popcorn at the screen, ripped my shirt like a wild beast, immediately went outside and violently asked the person in charge for a refund! I was furious at the number of explosions the movie had! Seriously, and you wonder why we Objectivists have a bad reputation. Okay, so how many explosions should be allowed to be in the movie? Geez... Sometimes I can't believe the things I read in this forum.
