    Hey all. This is Anthony Carreras. I introduced myself in the introduction section prior to getting this registration thing down.     Is a vocational education in elementary through high school an example of Pragmatism? Are academic courses any better for training one's conceptual faculty than elective courses?     I'm so glad I'm in a technical school and don't have to put up with many classes like this but it still bothers me. The first thing we learned about was self-esteem and how we get it: Shouldn't self esteem come from the self. Why would other people make a difference.     I'm starting a new thread, so it's easier to follow. I, accidentaly, made several points in one post: 1. Pleasure is subjective, meaning that the interpretation of something as being pleasurable depends on one's individuality. I also do not think there is such a thing as "objective pleasure". Any "objective sensation" as such. Sensations in themselves do not have to conform to reality. They ARE reality. Sensations are NOT man-made, because they are automatic responses, just like emotions.
