    Need help: Living wage problem

    By Samoht,
My sociology teacher (actually it is a Family Structure class) has sent out an email asking for help in doubling the wage of tomato pickers in Florida. The email came out today, and I know that she is going to bring up the topic tomorrow. What I want is some well thought out arguments using objectivism in opposition of people being paid more because they are too incompetent to find other employment. Free the World

    By Invictus,
Those wanting to find how their country fairs in terms of economic freedom may do so at Free the World. It is a branch of the Fraser institute dedicated specifically to measuring and promoting economic freedom. Their latest report put Honk Kong (still rated as a country) at number one, followed by Singapore and the United States. The bottom five nations are Guinea-Bissau, Algeria, Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Myanmar.
