Why was the suggestion to simply read the beginning corpus that I listed, and then go from there, something that would take an average reader less than two weeks to clear up misconceptions appreciated? This is the problem, people won't read and begin to integrate the philosophy themselves and instead want to build up some type of light "understanding" piecemeal and in random out of context and hierarchy via third person "interpretations" of others (second-handedness) (no matter how accurate or well intentioned in general, especially by the more articulate) instead of simply going straight to the original extremely well-written and amazingly easy to understand source for their own start at the integration of the ideas, step-by-step proofs, and knowledge presented.

Besides what Grames and Odden stated what would Stanfield make any decisions on this subject or any other without at least an implicit philosophy, basic implicit epistemology and ethics? Oh yeah he couldn't. What's better passively absorbed implicit philosophy that is non-systematic and full of non-sense and contradictions (as he has repeatedly shown in his posts) or an explicit, systematic, hierarchical approach that leads explicitly to consistent, non-contradictory moral clarity, knowledge, and certainty on this subject and all others. As stated above: Philosophy: Who Needs It?---- Again, the answer is *everyone*.

Put simply, but not how Miss Rand stated it. The mind is the self-programmed emergent "software" that "runs" on the "hardware" of the brain. Why do people have such an issue understanding something so self-evident when they don't associate the "mind" of Siri with the "brain" of their iPhone? There's more to it, of course, and I wrote about the "how" on this very site. It is neither "dualist" nor "monist". The brain is born with the ability to self-program an emergent mind and it does so in the vast majority of cases where there was no birth defects, etc.

Of course there is a simple and easy way to resolve any false "criticisms" or "misconceptions" of Objectivism, simply read the Objectivist corpus. Start with Peikoff's Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand which eloquently, beautifully, and systematically lays out the entire philosophy from metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, politics, and art. And then go from there reading The Virtue of Selfishness, Philosophy: Who Needs It, Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal, Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology, etc., and then go from there. One would then possess no misconceptions and would have an excellent starting base to ask appropriate questions about anything they still do not understand yet.

You didn't read the sources or you would understand all your claims of "political philosophy" which is only one part of the whole integrated philosophy of Objectivism is only a partial concern. Why are you even posting on an Objectivist forum? Again, and just because it isn't being currently enforced as this forum has virtually disintegrated over the years, those that are opposed to or are non-Objectivists are only supposed to post legitimate questions in the context of Objectivism to receive Objectivist answers and are not allowed to create non-Objectivist rants and opinion pieces promoting non-Objectivist ideas here. Worse, they are destroying and/or supporting the destruction of individuals who understand, support, and speak abouhe third option--objectivity via rationality-- and attempting a direct war on reality itself, especially against those like myself who they attack based on false altruistic principles (supported by the extreme Left all the way to the extreme Right) because of false philosophy and false mystical "beliefs". These people will eventually destroy themselves and civilization itself while murdering (both passively and actively) the good for the sake of being the good along the way while pretending that the good doesn't exist. Lying, deceiving, dropping context, creating false narratives, destruction, murder, is their modus operandi in this process. It's doomed to eventually fail and self-destruct because A is A regardless of how much they wish that it wasn't but the destruction of innocents (such as myself whom they play their mindless context dropping evil with) will be their only legacy. The world has switched to promoting and actively engaging in every dystopian philosophy treating what where warnings into playbooks used to actively destroy.

Retaliatory force against those that initiate force is a requirement of the government via the court system only as a principle of justice (or if a government isn't available in an emergency in self defense) or military action (including preemptive strikes) but that isn't a negation of individual rights it's how they are defended and the sole purpose of a moral government. It's restricted by Google, and I'm on your side completely when it comes to destroying the evil that does these things. The head should be taken off the snake (Iran), which should have happened on 9/12. That said, individual rights can never be negated. To negate rights is to move in the direction of the enemy and the dark ages. It's accepting the evil premises that causes these atrocities and beyond. It's what leads to Nazi Germany, Russia, China, N. Korea and even attacks on American citizens currently in the heart of America. The ideal and the "proper" (practical) are identical when proper rational philosophy is applied. There exists no ideal/practical false dichotomy when it comes to proper rational philosophy and a proper moral governments sole job to protect individual rights. The purpose of this Forum is to ask questions and receive correct answers in the context of Objectivism. Promoting false and/or evil ideas here (pragmatism in this case) used to (and still should) lead to a snapban.

That is correct. That is the premise that both Dagny and Reardon had to come to grips with, that because of being the followers of the morality of death they don't want to live.

Hamas is an Iranian proxy and Iran is in cooperation with the rest of the rising Axis of Evil which includes them, Russia, China, N. Korea and lessor dictatorships worldwide. They are also infiltrating Western countries including the United States, with the mass anti-Semitism on college campuses being reminiscent of 1939 being an explicit example, via the mass spreading of collectivist ideas that encompasses the entire political spectrum from the evil Left to the religious Right. The entire purpose and cause is mass irrational immorality on a global scale. They either want to create a worldwide dictatorship of a mixture of statist/collectivist/altruistic ideologies and/or destroy civilization in the process. Thanks David. Writing things down is what I planned to do. I wish I could explain the entire scope of this. We're talking thousands of people at the bare minimum and I know with certainty that they have influenced friends and family against me. And again I know how this sounds. There *is* an agenda. I was throwing out the only ones that make any sense. Another is that they are trying to trap me here and force me to take government help which beyond evil. I agree any reason doesn't matter because this is something that should never, ever under any circumstances be happening to *any* individual for absolutely *any* reason ever, especially in the United States of America. That it is simply means that it has become a complete tyranny where evil vigilante groups conspire with the government in the most evil way imaginable. It's a form of slow torture and murder. And allergy triggering attempts, food poisoning has occurred, especially near the beginning cars were constantly trying to cause accidents, the list just goes on and on. Again for absolutely no reason. They have essentially bankrupt me, destroyed everything (clothing, vehicle, personal belongings, all my jobs in that I was forced to leave because of the sabotage in various ways). No, I didn't "misremember". There were also sections on The Law of Identity, and The Law of Non-contradiction and many more. And many of the concepts had much more additional content that was removed. What is it with other O'ists trying to cause me to d what I'm saying? If they changed the online Lexicon to return it exactly the way the print version is that's one thing but you pretending that a site that I visited with regularity and had the listings, concepts, and additional content that I saw and read often is some sort of figment of my imagination or "issue" with my memory is beyond insulting. I was even redirected to the page where it said "this page is currently unavailable" the very day they took it away. What do I have to do--screenshot reality"? There's a lot of articles when you Google it. They explain that this is what they make it look like to both hide what is going on and discredit the victim. And yes in July this was going on, it has been going on for over a year and a half. I'm done trying to convince you people if you are just going to go along with the gaslighting while also dismissing what I'm saying and simply accepting the false explanation that is thrown out there to hide these crimes, make the victim look "crazy" , and is what allows all of this to happen to not only myself but the other victims of all of this.

Also, many things have happened that only a government can do. GPS on my phone and work tablet were always messing up. A bit over a year ago besides all the drones that were non-stop circling the house (rented from my mother's friend because I grew up half way down the block a military jet flew over straight down the street at only about 10000 feet, which *never* happened in the past. My laptop was hacked while doing the live stream monitoring of Skinwalker Ranch and again spotting many UAP and other very strange anomalies for them (and discussing the advanced physics of the situation including that what is located there is an AGI). My TV and sound bar that was hooked up to that laptop were also hacked and would cause various things not to work or change, etc. I wasn't "unremarkable" but that is what I'm being made to look like now. Again, there's a million more details and events that have happened but there is literally so much that it hard to list them all and explain them in the correct context. I was recruited to join the tech team and then an elite army spy unit but have never been in the military and at that time at age 44 was "too old" to join even though I look 30 at most. I'm now 46 btw. Again there is much, much more details to this story and context that I have not been able to list. I'm trying to give some of the context now but again it is huge.
