  1. Just out of curiousity, do you think Mundungus Fletcher found the locket when he was raiding Sirius' house? That would add complications for things since he's now in Azkaban.
  2. You really make me wish three things. 1) That I didn't have to work and could go over those books again. 2) That I could afford internet for my apartment. 3) That my work computer didn't have internet filters on it, so I could go to mugglenet.com *sigh* Such is the life of a poor college student...
  3. I'm kinda confused about what you're saying here about Luna and Ernie. Do you mean as descendents of the House Founders?
  4. You keep beating me to everything!! Grrr. Maybe I should check this site more often. I do like the idea of Lily teaching Potions though. I also didn't even notice Regulus had those initials! Man, I'm a bit off. Good ideas, good ideas...
  5. Another thought has occurred to me... Did Snape really change his loyalties? The way Dumbledore died, you don't know if Snape was ignoring a request or obeying it. He even stops people from using the Crucio curse on Harry at the end. Maybe I'm just thinking too much into it...
  6. I was actually wondering when Dumbledore was going to be killed off... I originally thought it would be Book 5, but no. Can't say I still wasn't sad when it happened, even though I had a good idea it was coming. Maybe it was just me, but I didn't feel like we got a look at the entire year, classes and all that, like the previous books. I was glad that Harry got to be Quidditch Captain though. Stupid McLaggen... One of my questions was about Wormtail. If Voldemort sent him to "serve/help" Snape, where was he the entire year? And how will his debt to Harry play out? I can't believe there's only one book left. And at least two more years before we see it.
  7. My favorite part is actually in the draft that was submitted to Congress, but was eventually removed and part of it paraphrased.
  8. LOL. Not at all. I really mean that. I love history. My grandfather is a really big history buff and when I was little, he would teach me. My only problem (which was why I chose EE over History), was that I didn't know what I could do with a degree in History. I still don't. So it's just a hobby of mine.
  9. I definately ordered it... but my mail doesn't come until late in the afternoon. And coincidentally I'm taking my friend to a Toby Keith concert for his birthday that same night. So it's really like 9 days today. Out of curiosity, do they print the books in Croatian? Do you read it in Croatian or English?
  10. Mmm... History. If I weren't an Electrical Engineer, that would be my first choice.
  11. I like the eggs more for the fact that they are 'hidden' so to speak and I have to figure them out. I like puzzles. Nine days. *And now I'm a Junior Member!!!!
  12. I couldn't believe it when I heard it on the radio this morning on the way to work. London seemed like such a happy place yesterday when they won the 2012 Olympics. The other thing that baffles me is that I was the only one at work who had heard about it. No one even noticed. That gets me more than anything. What is the time difference between the East Coast and London? Is it 5 hours? Edit: I checked, it is 5 hours.
  13. I must agree with you and source. Good character, bad ending. And all that gossip about how he could return! I actually don't like the movies too much. Maybe I'm too much of a purist. The actual book three is my favorite and the movie just let me down. I have been to places like muggle.net and wow... so much information and speculation!! You could get really caught up in all that. Have you found all the eggs on Rowling's site?
  14. As Tea pointed out, it was common knowledge before the book was even released, admitted by Rowling herself!! I was happy to have the info anyway; It prepared me for my heartbreak.
  15. You're on a good pace there. I found the fifth to be particularly depressing, since my favorite character dies. But I'm hoping the sixth will make up for it.
