One important thing to note is that cultural relativism seemingly contradicts itself. Its whole premise is that we should be tolerant with the morals of different cultures. A culture could also have a moral obligation to be intolerant of other cultures. In this case, by using cultural relativism, one would be obligated to be tolerant of other cultures, but it could also be morally impermissible to do so. Many people align their own moral compass with that of their culture; however, due to this contradiction, I do not believe that cultural relativism is the end all be all regarding morality.
