  1. I think it would reduce the size of government quite quickly.
  2. Of course, Toohey (sorry Chomsky), is gloating. http://www.chomsky.info/articles.htm What a psychopath.
  3. Sorry, I see now. I agree that such a bill would push this country into pressure-group overdrive. I think that is what is happening anyway, might as well blow on the house of cards, maybe it would make everyone more responsible, make them put their money where their mouth is.
  4. How about a tax choice bill. Here's how it would work: at the end of each fiscal year, every individual that pays tax receives a form which states how much you paid in taxes. Below that is a list of the major Federal departments that receive tax revenue, each with a box beside them. The taxpayer then goes through the list, alloting the amount he/she sees fit to give to each Department, or a zero for those he/she doesn't want to fund. If the taxpayer doesn't want to do this, then they can sign a waiver allowing the Gov. to spend as they wish. Bet that would change the way things are done in D.C.
  5. Love your sense of life, Ifat, I look forward to seeing the progress of your work bring this out even more. Thankyou for sharing.
