  1. Actually, the job quality depends on your skills in the specific area. Each day you work, your skills in a specific area will increase. Right now I work at a food manufacturing job which requires my manufacturing skill to be 1. I get 2.21 LTL as my salary and consume Q2 food for 1.89 LTL for my survival. So I'm slowly making money. Can't wait moving to a new location then I get 14.50 LTL though!
  2. Moldavia sounds nice enough, since grain resorces are the most important ones in the game AND starting with the small taxes is quite good too. But no matter what country we choose to move to, we must first become strong enough to be economically and politically active.
  3. Yeah. AND that means that we can take control of the country quite easy too
  4. I think that objectivists already occupy 33 percent or so of the Jan Mayen's population. We should start our newspapers and try to gain intellectual power over Norwegians. Later we'll find our political party and try to get into power. If we succeed, we may try reducing the taxes and introducing voluntary taxation and voluntary service.
  5. You can. Then you reach level 8.
  6. I am now in Lithuania Minor(Lithuania) but I am thinking of moving to Svandberg and San Mayen(Norway) I think it's quite possible to take control of that area, since it has only 24 people. Not much resources, but a decent hospital - they heal you then you get injured at war. Another good try is Nunavut - 34 people and much diamonds but no infrastructure I will be in the northern Norway then I have enough xp to start my newspaper
  7. Actually, I think you can create a resistance group and declare independence in some less inhabited region. I saw places like USA and Russia quite shattered, so it seems there are more states than that.
  8. Playing right now. You can even become a president of a country! So yeah, it's good to find a place to settle in together. By the way, my name's Juxtys there
  9. It seems like a nice article at first sight, but attacks on intellectual property in some of the comments made me uncomfortable. I know that it's hard to patent an idea or a new product and everything is easier to bigger companies, but why the government is any better than the corporations?
  10. My grandfather spent most of his life drinking milk with high lead concentration, water from a well that was quite shallow and ate food grown with dangerous fertilizers while some seeds were even boosted by nuclear radiation, he still suffered from from absence of vitamins and even food. Despite the STATE MONOPOLY of agriculture and oil companies that put lead into their petrol and fertilizer producers who went several times above safety limits, inefficient and unclean food production he managed to live for 83 years. Yes, state actually takes care of things quite well! *Sarcasm*
  11. You misunderstand her intention. She meant that then you die, you stop to care about the world. Everything stops mattering to you and you lose your value system.
  12. Having things provided for you unearned AND being taught in school that the state must provide for you and you must provide for others who can't provide for themselves is the deadly mixture.
  13. when reason doesn't help, you got to use force... Or at least the both camps think so.
  14. I've seen some news reports of posters picturing The U.S. president Barack Obama as a joker from the newest batman movie. The media smears this campaign but the comments on the internet seem to be on the postees side. What do you think of it? Here, for example, is the media report with comments attacking the Media itself.
  15. Free market will always find the best answers and the evidence to support them. But no matter how wellit does, some people will still be paranoid to trust them.
  16. Anthem, 2112, Peaceble Kingdom - all by Rush. there are probably a few more.
  17. I'm not much into Atlas movie, but I wouldn't mind it made into series. With a book as long as that, they would have enough material for a season or five.
  18. I use alcohol only as a kind of medicine. I dislike the people who use it for 'entertainment'. But that's probably because I have seen many people who have drunk themselves to poverty.
  19. Madagascar comes to mind. It's an island, so it's easier to avoid the gangs of looters so common in Africa and is one of the most poorest countries in the world. If you want to spread Capitalism there, you'll just probably need to work, spreading the ideas of individual and invidual rights.
  20. Faith is still faith, no matter how you call it.
  21. I think the idea is that you can't live in a RV that is not standing on the land you own.

    233.

Happy Birthday, America. Isn't it strange that July 6th is also the day the only king of Lithuania was crowned? I think it is.
  23. Enviromentalists want to improve the use of solar and wind power by that tax. Such a tax in Lithuania has always existed, but there ain't many solar nor wind power plants here
  24. If you collect 12 points in that quiz you're not an objectivist, but a parody of it. Seriuosly, who would see Atlas Shrugged as the biggest human achievement? It probably was the biggest Ayn Rand's achievment, but not many other humans had any part in it.
