  1. if you value your grades then i wouldnt consider this option. while most professors wont give you bad grades just for openly disagreeing with them is it really worth it to discover that this particular professor is not so honorable?
  2. i really dont see it happening now or in the future.
  3. im sure there will be, possibly more than one. could be good or bad i dont know
  4. from what i know of the 50's it was a decade that was certainly not as perfect as we see on old movies and TV shows. it seems to me that the 50's had two sides, those who were disillusioned after ww2 and those who got on with their lives. I think that this large group of people who were disillusioned helped lead the way for the turbulent 60's.
  5. several years ago i rented a movie i thought might be worth the three dollars. i was only looking for a few laughs so my expectations were not very high. the movie was Mystery Men and it failed to deliver. I didn't laugh at all and had to turn it off halfway through it. It was oon of those rare movies that made me feel embarassed for the person who made it.
  6. if i remember correctly bilbo spent a fortune on his birthday party, it wasnt given to him because he needed it. it may not be a capitalist paradise but i wouldnt call it communist either
  7. i forgot about final fantasy 7, i liked that one too. as long as we are talking about favorite RPGs let me suggest also: final fantasy 8, anything from the lunar series, and elder scrolls 3 (x box). there are a few strategy/rpg games as well: final fantasy tactics, vandal hearts, ogre battle, and tactics ogre. Diablo 2 is also good but i dont know where to put that. ive heard of other games that are very good but unfortunately havent got a chance to play them yet so i wont recomend them.
  8. i couldnt help but make my character dark, it just seemed more fun that way
  9. it was a video game. it doesn't have to advocate the same philosophical beliefs that i do. it was fun and well worth my $25.00.
  10. i liked knights of the old republic as well. have you ever played any of the suikoden games? suikoden 1 and 2 i would consider art, 3 is less is some way but just as fun. if you can find these (1 and 2 are very hard to find) i would suggest playing them. after playing them i look at rpgs in a new light.
  11. how could you not get that impression of him from the book? most of those give the best qualities of Roark.
  12. i think i am somewhat like Roark. i am generally indifferent to things that don't concern me, and i am an individualist.
  13. that was always what i liked about Roark
  14. it said i am an INTJ. it game me these scores. I: 100 N: 44 T: 78 J: 67 my sister was an INTJ as well.
  15. this is rather simple. for those who enjoy computer games (myself being such a person) i dont think there is any point in contemplating the negative aspects of computer games, just enjoy them. this next part bothers me. those who find something negative in computer games should simply not play them. instead many people talk about the evils of computer games and their bad influence. im not asking them to play video games, i just wish they would be quiet about something that does not concern them.

    Vices...

why would doctors have the singular desire of making more money for the drug industry? they get more money if you continue to see them, which you will if you are happy with their treatment. im not an expert on these drugs but i do take several of them for bipolar disorder and they work wonders for me. i can't imagine trying to live my life the way i used to now that i see the difference. and frankly i dont think i could have done anything by reasoning with myself.
  17. its terrible. why should this group of environmentalists be able to enforce their values on people who don't hold them? if someone buys property for themselves they should be able to decide what to do with it.
  18. my favorite color is light gray. no idea why, it just seems to go with everything.
  19. there are spoilers in here, so if you haven't watched the movie don't read this. I was very excited about this movie before it even came out, so i naturally imagined about what it might be about, and what the ending would be. Sadly i predicted the 'twist' ending, which made it disappointing. i also predicted that there weren't any monsters at all. i usually like his movies, and The Sixth Sense is still one of my favorites, but i don't like predictability.
  20. the pictures of the characters arent showing up for me. id really like to see them, does anyone have an idea how i could fix that?
