  1. Those of you with any paranoia regarding gmail privacy issues are morons. Plain and simple. You act is if gmail is the only email provider that does this; they are not. Yahoo! Mail does the same thing, but not only do they target adds to what you're reading, they also place cookies all over the place in order to keep track of exactly where you've been and what you've done/looked at. http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/pixels/details.html
  2. I think it's wonderful. Why should I be exposed to your disgusting habit, esp. if it has the potential to kill me? If you choose to engage in that behvaior in your own time, in your own home, more power to you (and thanks for helping Mother Nature control the human population).
  3. I don't know if you would classify Norah Jones as blues, but I think it's damn near. Her music is awesome, in that it's not mainstream, yet it is. She's got such a unique sound, and it's pleasant on the ears. Often, I'll play it at work at night, and the patrons seem to enjoy it as well.
  4. Y'all are on the right track. Just be thankful this place hasn't turned into the wasteland that has befallen Hobbes (http://hobbes.resnet.tamu.edu).
  5. Are you likening these "premonitions" to something akin to psychic ability? What is your opinion on that? Do you describe psychic ability as "luck" or something that can be described by statistic (in)probability? From my personal experience, both with myself and my mother, psychic phenomena (for lack of a better description), is for real. How does one explain this, or is there really no explaination (that we know of yet)?

Homeschooling, prehaps? I was homeschooled for three years, so I have a unique perspective.
  7. I agree with you completely. Although I've often been caught calling myself or others as "lucky" in the past, it's just a buzzword. It's an all encompassing word that humans came up with in order to put a label on something which the don't understand or have a label for. In reality, there's probably a real, (simple) explaination.
  8. Do you suppose this deep seeded attraction you speak of is more of a physical/lustful attraction, or something else? I can't fathom how someone could possibly love those you don't respect. Or, well, I should say, be in love with. I could easily love and care for someone that I don't have much respect for, but that's just human nature. But to be in love with someone like that, no way. That's just me, I guess.
  9. Okay, so this is a little off topic, but what if you're registered to vote in two different counties? See, I've been registered back home in El Paso, but my fish year at school, I figured I should register there (for some stupid reason). Now I get those voter cards in the mail every so often. I'm confused. This is my first presidential election that I'm eligible to vote for, and I'm not sure what's goin' on.
  10. I'm wondering if and/or when Hotmail is going to follow suit in this war.
  11. Hi, my name is Jason, the nickname is Barstool, and I'm currently in Aggieland. So, what's this place all about?
