  • Biography/Intro
Been a Randite since 1968. Got the term from Robert Heinlein's THE MOON IS A HARSH MISTRESS and applied it at a time when O'ists were called officially "students of Objectivism". By 1876 I'd been around a bit long to be a "student" and needed a term to hang my space helmet on that would ID me in the non=O'ist world

About Me

There is not much to say about me. I let my actions and what I say about the world and the things in it do the talking. I will gradually add to this

If you are wondering about my use of Space Patrol. It was something I found as a child. I find that the sense of life that this show embodied was perfectly compatible with The philosophy of Ayn Rand. In fact, it gave me my affinity to this philosophy

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

1, I have a reputation for being easy-going. However, I do bite if antagonized; on the order of : "Granny, does the kitty scratch?" "No child": Two minutes later: "[RWWWWRR-ffft Rrriippppp] WWWAAHHHH! You said the kitty does't scratch!' "Well now, you dind't tell me you were going to try to pull his tail off, now did you?" How to antagonize: Belligerence, Disrespect (trying to con me), Stupidity (trying to con me when you should know I knw better) Priggishness (taking things too literall leading me to question your knowledge of the use of the language), Making unsupported assertions about things I say before asking what I mean or how I meant what I said (literally, figuratively, humorously or sarcastically, etc....) In short things that make me think you're a dummy. In all liklihood I was your age many years ago and have been around the track a few times since then.

2, I pride myself on my mentality and it's function. I have a good BS detector: I've seen most of the cons you'll try to pull and have pulled a good number of them myself. Besides, do you really think you can put one over on an Objecitivist of 40 years standing?
