  1. That's true. In fact, I'd say property rights is the only true right. All other rights like "right to jobs", "right to a home" are socialist measures that lead to totalitarianism.
  2. I distinctly recall her hating the sixties/seventies anti-man anti-mind "post-modern" movies, but can't remember which ones exactly.
  3. I consider myself extreme right-wing and I am prod of it! I'd pick a so-called far right/extreme right government over a left-wing totalitarian one any day since only the right-wing respects individual and human rights. Like Miss Rand said, its time Hitler was understood to be a leftist rather than a rightist because communism and nazism are just two forms of lef-wing socialist ideology.
  4. Thanks for that. I recall reading Miss Rand talk about other movies in one of her books but can't remember now which one it was and my books are in another place now. Any ideas which book(s) it was she talked of movies in?
  5. I'm looking for a list of movies that Miss Rand loved and a list of those she hated. Any help please? Thanks.
  6. It is good that he is moving away from a leftist media outlet like ABC to a right-wing one like Fox, which, in spite of its Republican stranglehold, respects property rights more than the rest of the leftist MSM. He has exposed the anti-capitalist practices of many government programs etc. He'll now have a bigger audience and a supportive corporation like Fox to help him.
  7. The fact that he claimed reason was not trustworthy (because of some mystical reasons) makes him the most evil philosopher ever. Many, if not most, of the world's evils today can be attributed to his evil ideas. Kant, Hegel, Marx: the most evil persons the world has seen. Their evil damage can be seen even today in the guise of socialism which most American political parties follow with blind faith. Hardly any party ever follows true free market capitalist principles, but are completely socialist (Democrats) or partially so (republicans). To think a lot of this evil can be traced back to Kant makes my blood boil whenever I hear of him.
  8. "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." - Benjamin Disraeli. Collectivist-socialists always put these "statistics" in our faces, when clearly statistics can be modified and made to suit any viewpoint. We all know what collectivism leads to: look at the totalitarian states like Soviet Union for example. I wouldn't consider any such "evidence" valid unless approved by capitalists, so that a neutral point of view is had. The western capitalist democracies contain the best system where property rights and individual rights can be protected and preserved. As they move towards totalitarianism (like what happened under FDR), they erode the basis for their foundation: reason and rights.
  9. I've heard some people talk about "neo-imperialism", where instead of countries planting flags on other countries, they send in their corporations to utilize the markets of other countries. What are your comments on this? My take is "boo hoo, so American corporations operate in Third World countries, so what? They create jobs (the so-called sweat shops) and help the American economy". Sounds good to me.
  10. I don't agree that the people who voted were all "nationalists". When Islam finally takes over Europe , all Europeans will lose their individual rights (whatever the have now). Something must be done to stop this. However this is a government action and I do not support such actions that restrict the freedoms of a people who are nevertheless medieval mystics who will impose totalitarianism over Europe. So, yeah, this is an evil misguided act.
  11. I oppose "gay rights" myself as an immoral intervention of the government into the private lives of individuals. I support individual rights for everyone. But that article is written from a typical mystical religious viewpoint.
  12. Your grouping Miss Rand in the "women" collective is even more absurd. Miss Rand was a unique and special individual irrespective of her genital organs over which she had no control of. Also I find a lot of irrational collectivist angst against what I said, which goes to show how some people seem to value the collective (men, women, mobs, whatever) over the individual.
  13. I do think that women as individuals (not as a collective entity) are weaker and less intelligent than men by an enormous margin. So I agree with the above statement. To back it up I quote Miss Rand:
  14. I just want to register my protest that I do not agree with this collectivist "grouping" of members based on location. This is a step towards towards nationalism and collectivism.
  15. How do you define evil? Its a question that came to me as I read this discussion.
  16. Sorry to restart this old thread. But I just wanted to add that feminism is one of the forms of collectivism I vehemently oppose. I believe feminism is at the root of enslavement of women under socialist barbarism, like Canada or the UK (where most people, especially capitalists, are enslaved to the government). It is pure evil and is totally anti-individual. By requiring women to be equal to men, feminism artificially creates two collectives "men" and "women", whereas such stupid distinctions do not really exist (we are all individuals and nothing can make us part of any collective whatsoever, especially our sex organs). Any more thoughts?
  17. No way. Those are MY priorities. ME, MY friends and family, bunch of hot girls for ME and scientists and whatnot who work for ME. Yep. These are the ones going aboard the ship if I were advisor to the Ark-building committee.
  18. Do you have any source for this bribe thing? It would be very useful in combating liberal morons.
  19. Gosh, these comments really do scare me. They almost made me question my free market beliefs, but one look at the amount of money and wealth people create and accumulate in of capitalist system got rid of any doubts for me and now I'm more convinced than ever that we must fight the liberal/red menace that has brainwashed these poor people if we are to survive as a nation and capitalism is to survive as an idea.
