  1. You are correct Grames. The original quotation does not add such a qualifier. I added that myself, stating that in my opinion, the bullfighter's values applied to this activity, assuming there are any, are not objective. I did not claim it invalidates the activity as an art-form because it is not objective.
  2. According to the quotation, the artist (the bullfighter) must therefore be making value judgments in the application of his art. I can't help but wonder what that bullfighter's values are that he feels he can torture a crippled, enraged animal before a roaring crowd, surrounded by armed bodyguards ready to step in an kill the bull at the first sign of trouble. If he is displaying value judgments, they are hardly objective.
