" I agree to a certain extent but I belive that is is a matter of geography as opposed to anything that the U.S. is or does. Speak on it ! I think the U.S. was founded on a superior ideological premise, compared to pretty much every other country on the planet, and we've benefitted from it tremendously. I don't think it necessarily renders us #1 in all respects, nor is this a position we can enjoy eternally without continued effort. I think we are in a superior position in many ways for building a true rights-respecting model and creating real lassaiz-faire capitalism, but that's in the future.
