Yitzhak Finnegan
Guess the idea came about years ago when I gave Olympic silver medalist figure skater Elizabeth Manley a t-shirt that was a take-off on the Olympic motto Citius,Altius,Fortius (Fastest, Highest, Strongest). It had the Olympic 5-color rings below the words Brevius,Suavius,Lepidius. When I told her what that was Latin for, Shortest, Sweetest, Cutest, she goes "Awe....how nice!" and six months later sends me a postcard saying "I've been wearing the t-shirt all year on tour. It's great, thanks!" Okay, so that has nothing to do with Objectivism, but the following ideas might. You know the slogan of the People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals, "I'd rather be naked than wear fur"? Well I had a custom t-shirt made (and feel free to copy it) that says "I'd rather eat fur than join PETA" Next idea, no one ever refers to L V Mises or E V Boem-Bawerk. But the author of The Road To Serfdom is a different story. And his initials can have a dual meaning. So I intend to make a t-shirt saying "Michael Moore doesn't know F A Hayek". Got any ideas of your own?

Tenure
"My hierarchy of values: you, on top of me" "Trust the validity of your senses: I am this hot" "You integrated all the fundamental percepts, measurement omitted, into a concept of what I'm wearing - and all you got was this lousy t-shirt" Thanks; I'm here all week! John McVey
It would be best to get permission from the Estate of Ayn Rand before making any t-shirts using content derived from any of her works. Anything making obvious reference to them (including imagery, eg a train with a TT badge, not just the words alone) are likely classifiable as derivative works and hence protected under the same copyright as their sources. The same issue applies to references to anyone else's copyrighted material, such as Nic Gaetano's cover artwork. Btw, Anthem is no longer under copyright in the US but it is still under copyright elsewhere in the world. Even so, check with the Estate for US distribution approval anyway. Jim A.
Front: "There is no escape from reality..." Back: "...it'll catch up with you no matter where you go." (I think Johnny or Edgar Winter came up with this one.) Front: "Philosophy is what makes people tick..." Back: "...and sometimes they tick like a bomb." (examples listed on background of back of shirt: 9/11, Andrea Yates, Jim Jones, the Virginia Tech killer, the U.S.S.R., Nazi Germany and others) Front: "THESE ARE THE END TIMES..." Back: "...if you want them to be."
pvtmorriscsa
Howdy All, How about an image of Ms. Rand, similar to this one of Ronald Reagan: http://www.thoseshirts.com/reagan.html Then change the caption so it says something like; “Still Shrugging”, “Join the Strike”, or “Don’t be a scab”. On a similar note I stumbled across this site several months ago: http://www.jordan-river.com/?doc=151313 I realize there would be copyright issues, but how cool would it be to have a similar pendant, perhaps with a dollar sign motif, and Galt’s speech instead of mystical drivel? grizzly8566
On the front, under a picture of Ayn Rand: Freedom, Baby, Yeah! and on the back, under a picture of Austin Powers: Do I Make You Rand-y?
LiberTodd
I saw a football shirt before that said "Your Ass is Grass." I thought of a good idea right then and there: "Your Ass is Ass, no matter how much you want it to be Grass."
