KevinDW78
I wanted to share with everyone a funny situation that happened to me last week. While hanging around campus with my best friend, we went to chill in the student union where they have these large, plush leather sofas. After sitting down we immediately both sunk very far into the sofa (you know the kind). At this point, I objected by hilariously stating, "I hate these sofas. They encourage altruism." and then we both had a good laugh.

KevinDW78
I don't get it. Well basically: (Plush + Comfy) = Laziness = Non-Productivity = Altruism
Thales
Well basically: (Plush + Comfy) = Laziness = Non-Productivity = Altruism Altruism does lead to socialism, which does lead to laziness, but I don't know that laziness leads to altruism. I understood where you were going with it, but I think the cause and effect are reversed.
softwareNerd
Replace "altruism" with "hedonism" and you can have your joke back. Edited February 28, 2008 by softwareNerd
