Clawg Posted June 11, 2008 Report Share Posted June 11, 2008 http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/...80515145356.htm Makes complete sense to me that the brain has some hard wired mechanism that tries to predict future movements because usually we actually perceive not the present but the past (it takes some milliseconds to reach our brain and to react). This discovery is especially interesting since a common argument against the objectivity of our senses is that there are optical illusions.
