haha, that was a great cartoon.

i'm in middle school and am unfortunately surrounded with idiots who are raised being taught that very thing the screaming is saying

that self-sacrifice is good and working for your own good is damned. personally, i say it is because of religion that this is being screamed at all. i also go to the mormon church because i'm too big a coward to tell my parents i don't believe in god... at all. but these very same socialistic idea's are being preached there. it's god awful

Let's start showing this in schools again.

Wouldn't that be nice.... I actually had a decent economics teacher who supported capitalism, but his reasoning was that socialism was a nice idea but simply impractical. Several of friends had an openly communist economics teacher, which is pretty sad.

Rosemary - that's the sort of attitude I find her in the UK. People accept that, ecnomically, capitalism does some nice things. Socialism only failed because of the inherent inability of men to live up the moral virtues of the socialism-past. This inability to understand the goodness of Capitalism in its moral basis is what held back a Renaissance of Capitalism here, and in America, in the 80s. Instead, it just stopped after Thatcher (or Reagan).
