If the government can tell us which TV's and lightbulbs we can buy and how warm we may keep our houses, I guess nothing is out of bounds.

Pretty soon they'll be regulating how many times a day you can poop. Yes, I see it now, a poop and trade market.

They already told us how much water the toilet tank can hold, thereby wasting more water by having to flush two or three times.

That's all too common.

A customer tries to save paper by printing certain documents double-sided. It makes sense, sure. But his supliers find the double-sided documents awkward and clumsy to work with. So instead of keeping 18 printed pages, they take 9 double-sided pages and make 18 single page copies, then discard the 9 originals. So 27 sheets of paper are used for an 18 page document. Some savings.
