Really makes one wonder if he set-up the past Liberal leader for failure in the last election so that he could come in like a cowboy to save them. The Liberals have always only ever been in search of the next pragmatic move to further their standing as "Canada's natural ruling Party". Remember the Rabid anti Americanism when Bush was in power?
