tommyedison
Let's say we are shown 100 cards spread out on the floor with their back sides towards us. The back sides are absolutely the same but on one of the cards' front sides, something is written which will get us a prize. Now we are supposed to pick one of the cards and try out our luck. We have no way of knowing what is written on the front sides of the cards. I go and pick a card. Isn't choice of which card to pick a totally random decision, a decision reached without reasoning? But clearly it is not immoral but still an irrational decision. Then how can we call every irrational decision evil or immoral?

Irrational means contrary to reason or in conflict with reason which is not the case here. Since there is no basis for picking one card over any other, just guessing is the rational thing to do (assuming there are no other relevant factors to consider).
