Presty7
Has anyone else heard their music? They are an American instrumentalist "post-rock" band. Their music generally is very beautiful and has a great sense of life. Is anybody else a fan?
Geoff
Explosions in the Sky is an amazing band. The music they create is absolutely beautiful. It's such a relief to hear a post-rock band that plays uplifting music. Seems that the majority of post-rock bands today are too concerned with suffering, but they are definitely worth a listen. Also an amazing band to see live.

Anthem2112
I recently discovered this band a couple of months ago. Very relaxing and an enjoyable listen. "The Earth Is Not A Dead Cold Place" is the album I started off with...and the last track was featured in the film Friday Night Lights. Downfall08
I've listened to them for quite a while. I can't resist popping them in on a road trip at dusk. If you like them, you might like Mogwai, who are a little more desolate than Explosions but still good. The only problem I see with Explosions is their lack of progression. So far they've sort of made a career on constructing the same song in altered forms. Granted, the formula works, but it gets a little boring for me. CastleBravo
Yes. Great band. Another "Post Rock" band that i like a lot is Godspeed You! Black Emperor. ISIS is great too, but darker and more energetic.
Plasmatic
Wow, EITS sounds alot like my boys from MuteMath. Wonder if they come from the same background?
