otemporaomores
why live for yourself? i do, but i feel like there is something missing in my validation of egoism. this is what i have so far: sacrafice as evil, including altruism and egotism. self-esteem, as being worth living for. man is a means to his own end. DavidOdden
Start with the most basic question: have you chosen to live, or have you chosen to die? If you've chosen to die, why are you still here? If you've chosen to live, that fact defines the standard by which all other choices are to be evaluated -- do they support or thwart your fundamental choice?
