The Ramones - She's The One.

Nothing like punk rock nihilism :D

Oh sure there is... horrorcore rap nihilism with massive doses of vigilante subjectivism thrown in. :P

Insane Clown Posse

Bang! Pow! Boom!

It's a semi-long story on how I even decided to subject myself to this stuff. Suffice to say for me it's like Eminem... crappy values but an interesting way to relay the story. I'm a sucker for theme albums. I hadn't even heard of "Horrorcore" before.

PS: Yep, another post of mine that brings down the IQ of the thread. I gotta stop this....

this is for the match this sunday:

Manchester 4 Liverpool 0

Past the Pub who saps your body

And the church who'll snatch your money

The Queen is dead, boys

And it's so lonely on a limb

All your dreams are made

When you're chained to (your) mirror with (your) razor blade

Today's the day that all the world will see

Happy Mondays - Kinky Afro

I don't dig what you gotta say

So come on and say it

Come on and tell me twice

I'm no clown I won't back down

I don't need you to tell me what's going down

Down down down down da down down down

Vanessa Mae - A violinist who performs compositions of classical music to a modern dance beat.

The Best of Vanessa Mae.

I think this performance of hers is phenomenal! It's Vivaldi's Summer from his four seasons, but she titles it Storm:

As far as other performances go, classically speaking, the best performance I have ever seen of O Fortuna from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana conducted by Andre Rieu!!

Fucking powerful!

I do like Therion's version of it, in metal:

:D Everyone listen to Epica. They'll bring the thread IQ points back up a few notches.

I've been listening to them for some time now. Love Simon Simons' voice!

Diana Krall's Live in Paris DVD is stellar! In one of the songs, a violinist can be seen with a tear rolling down her cheek, very emotional some of those songs are. Devil May Care the lyrics interest me. Anthony Wilson is an excellent jazz guitar player, too.

Right now, since I am very very much into Goth Metal, which I primarily listen too, lately I have been listening to these too over and over:

Michelle Darkness, Pet Semetary

catchy tune.

This one will administer to the listener a large dose of melancholy:

End of Green, Tragedy Insane

Yeah, they have some amazing performances together. I think this is another great one.

coolest Manson video (although it has extra pics in it by the poster):

Marilyn Manson, Tainted Love

Marilyn Mansons latest album, The High End of Low is probably my favorite one of theirs (and the album the preceded it), for the figurative language, morbidity, insight, romance, etc.

Here's some song:
