Definitely very animated and, at least to me, it seems genuine. I love this kind of expression.

I'll Youtube Anne-Sophie Mutter and Andre Rieu tonight. Up until a year ago, I rarely watched performances and mostly stuck to audio recordings, so I have a lot of ground to cover. Feel free to recommend some more of your favorite composers.

Another of my favorite performers: Pianist Evgeny Kissin

In this video he is performing Liszt's arrangement of Paganini's "La Campanella"

Here is my favorite of Rieu's, O'Fortuna, very powerful:

Mutter:

the camera angles and shots mostly fucking suck, but she still manages to stand out B)

Got the new Crowded House album. Got rave reviews on iTunes from the fans ('best album since Revolver'), but I don't think it's as good as their last one. Still pretty strong though. The melodies are great, but I think the riffs and countermelodies are in short supply. Saturday Sun, Archers Arrow, and Even If are great tracks though. In fact they're all high quality except tracks 7 and 8, but there's only ten tracks total.

Been listening to lots of Prince tracks. Made up a top 100 on Spotify. He doesn't have too many first tier classics like Little Red Corvette and The Beautiful Ones, but he's got a heck of a lot of 2nd tier hits and gems like Uptown or Sometimes It Snows in April or The Cross, and they're impressively spread across a few different genres (rock, pop, soul, funk).

Maybe we can relive the topic?

This topic is for the members to share the music they are listening to, it supposed to be updated constantly.

I'll be the first:

My best friend is traveling in India at the moment, this song makes me think about him and about journeys in general.

The youtube video is great.

Sympony X is a great band.

I'm at work so I have some classic Rainbow playing. It might be a good example of Jonathan's Sublime he is always talking about I might add.

I have Nile's "Those Whom The Gods Detest" in the car for the trip home, but I'll save you the video. That one is in the deep end of the pool.

Edit: Sorry, for the life of me I can't get this thing to embed into the forum.
